Here's how ScanX Digital Imaging works.
ScanX is a computed radiography (CR) system. Replacing film, CR utilizes phosphor storage plates (PSP) which are flexible plastic plates coated with an x-ray sensitive photo stimulable material. Phosphor plates are durable and reusable thousands of times. Upon exposure to x-rays, the plate stores a latent image which is scanned by ScanX. Easy to use certified imaging software enhances the digital image to aid you in diagnosis. Save images to your computer for easy retrieval and huge space savings in your office.

Incomparable Ease of Use
One step scanning, just insert the plate. No drums to load.
No need for chemistry, processor maintenance or duplicating film. ScanX operates in normal room lighting.

Use your Existing X-Ray Equipment
Just replace film with a Phosphor Storage Plate (PSP) and expose the plate, the same way you expose film. Simply insert the plate into ScanX and in a mere 35 seconds the image is ready for viewing.

Efficient Time Management
ScanX technology saves you time and space with easy digital file storage and archiving. Retrieve and review patient x-rays, send them to a colleague or burn a copy on CD… at the push of a button.
