About ALLPRO Imaging

ALLPRO Imaging is a leading manufacturer of imaging systems for the veterinary, medical and NDT marketplace.

ALLPRO Imaging benefits from the proven engineering and manufacturing capabilities of Air Techniques,Inc., a major manufacturer of dental equipment for more than 40 years, by sharing its executive and manufacturing resources of 350 employees and physical plant of over 200,000 square feet. In June 2006 Air Techniques moved its headquarters to Melville, New York. The new headquarters house the company's manufacturing, administrative, engineering, marketing, warehouse, shipping and sales departments.

ALLPRO Imaging products are produced in a vertically integrated factory using contemporary computer controlled fabricating and testing devices. The engineering department operates on computer aided design (CAD). All design and manufacturing processes are in compliance with FDA Good Manufacturing and Design Practices.

The first ALLPRO Imaging product was the ALLPRO 2000M in 1985. This 10"X12" film processor has captured a significant portion of the podiatry market and is the only processor to have been awarded the APMA Seal of Acceptance. A version for NDT film was produced for sale by E.I. DuPont. An updated version of the 2000M, the ALLPRO 2010, was introduced in 1998.

The ALLPRO 100, a tabletop unit that processes 14" x 17" medical film was developed in 1987 to meet the needs of radiologists, chiropractors and veterinarians. The ALLPRO 100M, a processor designed to meet the critical demands of mammography, debuted in 1990. From 1988 to 1992 ALLPRO Imaging private labeled a film processor for distribution by the Eastman Kodak Company. An updated version of the ALLPRO 100, the ALLPRO 100 Plus, was introduced in 1994.

In 1997, ALLPRO introduced its first non-processor based product, the MedScope Video Forensic System. Based upon the VistaCam Dental Intraoral Camera, the MedScope is used to record and document forensic examinations of sexual abuse and rape victims.

In 2002 ALLPRO introduced the ScanX Digital Imaging System. The ScanX is a Computed Radiography (CR) system that utilizes reusable Phosphor Storage Plates in place of film. The innovative and patented design of the ScanX makes digital radiography accessible to physicians, chiropractors, veterinarians, podiatrists and other private practitioners.
